Bitcoin remains resilient amid turbulence in traditional markets. Interest from institutional investors and the perception of cryptocurrency as a hedge against inflation remain the main factors of stability. A growing number of companies view bitcoin as an element of diversification and even as a means of settlement. Bitcoin remains one of the few assets able to attract capital amid fiscal and macroeconomic uncertainty. In recent news, it is worth noting yesterday's announcement by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), a company controlled by Donald Trump's family, of plans to raise $2.5 billion to create a bitcoin reserve. The funds will come from about 50 institutional investors. On the scale of the total bitcoin issue, this isn't a lot: based on the current price of the asset, this amount would purchase roughly 23,000 bitcoins, or just over 0.1% of the entire issue. However, in this case, it is worth paying attention not to the amount, but to the trends, which currently indicate an increasing attention to cryptocurrency competing with traditional financial instruments.
